3 DAY FLY IN to The BIRDSVILLE RACES 2008 - TOUR DEPARTS Friday 5 September 2008 Tour Cost $2995 Including GST. TOUR INCLUDES ALL FLIGHTS on large Turboprop, air conditioned and pressurised aircraft, ACCOMMODATION and ALL MEALS at our Exclusive Camp, PLUS side tours and Race Club Medallion for free entry to all events. Single Supplement $300. HIGHLIGHTS: Exclusive flight departs from the Jet Base at Sydney Airport. Fly to Orange (second departure point) and then on to Bourke. Short tour of Bourke before our departure to remote Birdsville. Our accommodation will be in our special support camp in the Caravan Park. Enjoy 6 meals produced by our chef, in our large marquee during your stay. Two person pyramid tents pre erected and complete with camp beds and lights. Enjoy the carnival that is Birdsville. Attend the Birdsville Dance on the Friday night, and the Birdsville Ball on the Saturday evening. Enjoy an ale at the famous Birdsville Pub and listen to the sound of the spruiker at the Boxing Tent. Enjoy a visit to the Birdsville Working Museum. This is the most remote picnic race in Australia but also the friendliest. Tour departs from and returns to Sydney and Orange.
